I’m Vanessa! I live by the beach in Brisbane, Australia.
I don’t blog about any one topic. I’ve tried that before. It doesn’t interest me. This is a personal blog, which basically means I end up writing about whatever is on my mind at the time. Sometimes it’s serious. Other times I’ll write satire. That’s me. I have a massive case of Shiny Object Syndrome and I’m delving in deep into why we put so much into “shoulds” in our lives. I’ve written a book on it, called Fuck Should. You can find it, and my other books, here.
Some people are negative about having lots of skills and interests. They say things like “Jack of all trades, master of none”. To them, I blow a resounding raspberry.
Others call having a range of skills being multipassionate. I call it being me.
Remember, we’re all normal to ourselves.
