What I Loved: Welcome to 2015

tree face

I released myself from my usual near-daily blogging in December because of the wall of sheer exhaustion that I hit. Of course, by the time early to mid January arrived, I was all antsy because I wasn’t blogging regularly. I think this is an addiction, you know 🙂

So, what I have been loving so far in 2015?

tree face
I enjoy trees that wear snorkelling masks.

cloud porn
I love some good cloud porn, because it’s so pretty!! I would miss the storm fronts if I lived anywhere else.

giant mocktail glass
I’m enjoying mocktails (stupid antibiotics!) in my giant $20 glass. And the spotty straws just make everything better.

club sandwich
Giant club sandwich from a cafe near my work – it was cooked super fast and eaten equally fast.

Parakito
The people at Parakito gifted me an anti mozzie band that I’ve been trialling. But it’s hard to tell if it works because, as it turns out, the beach breeze drives away most mozzies. Stay turned – I’m interested in this product because the smell of regular mozzie spray irritates my sinuses.

op shop book
Reading for fun is another one of those things that I left slip last year – and then I came across a biography I’d been looking for. Marked down to $1…bargain!

cards against humanity
Cards Against Humanity forces you to make some difficult decisions sometimes…

cheese platter
I was given all of the leftover cheese from the family Christmas day gathering – so I’ve been eating a LOT of cheese lately. It was very, very difficult for me.

canon 7d
And last, but not least, I bought a new adapter for my DSLR charger. I can finally use it again!

I’ve also been doing a lot of prep work on my new blog, Bloggers and Bacon: Bite Sized Blogging Tips With Your Breakfast. I’m hoping to launch it at the start of February – but you can sign up to the mailing list here to keep up to date.

What have you loved this week?

  3. Lol. Um yep, I think it definitely is a little addictive. I can’t believe you were blogging everyday. I’m so glad you took some time out. The new blog sounds exciting!

I’ve always blogged a lot but this year I’m trying to find a new pattern. Might be a bit over the place until I can get my rebrand done!
